ABSTRACT

Tumours arising from part of the eccrine sweat gland. Eccrine poroma presents as a moist, red, nodule on the palms and soles (374). Eccrine spiradenomas are painful and occur as isolated nodules on any body site. Eccrine hidrocystomas usually occur close to the eyelids and are cystic papules which may enlarge with sweating (375). Syringomata are invariably multiple and form small (1-2 mm diameter), soft, flat papules on and around the eyelids (376). They usually affect young women.
