ABSTRACT

Chapters 5 and 6 were devoted to the study of the stabilization controller and robust H∞ controller synthesis, respectively. Those controllers are based on state feedback under the assumption that all the state variables are available for measurement. However, not all the state variables are measurable in most cases in practice. In such cases, controllers based on state feedback cannot be implemented, and thus output feedback control has to be considered. In this chapter, a number of results regarding observer and output feedback controller synthesis of T-S fuzzy systems are presented.
