ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we’ll explain what may be the single most important document you’ll use as you develop your suppliers into partners: the Plan for Every Part (PFEP). It’s a versatile document, and you’ll use it to make a number of decisions, both internal and external, for your facility. We’ll also explain how to develop your PFEP, and how to use that PFEP to determine what your internal inventory levels should be.
