ABSTRACT
Parts for the equipment should be selected to optimize overall equipment reliability. Characteristics of reliability-sensitive or critical components should be defined by the manufacturer to ensure reliability at the lowesttier supplier. The R&M plan should identify how machinery part suppliers are selected.
