ABSTRACT
The comprehensive visual map of the current process chosen for improvement (i.e., the LHE initiative), created by the LHE Project Team, provides an objective look at the steps and activities that occur and insights into sources of waste and poor flow. Performance metrics chosen to reflect what beneficiaries value and expect help direct the LHE team’s attention toward specific recommendations that can be implemented to reduce or eliminate waste and contribute to smooth flow.
