ABSTRACT
There is a reason the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK ) lists communication as one of the nine knowledge areas for a project manager. Quite simply, it is an essential part of any successful project. Why? Spinoza said, “Nature abhors a vacuum.*” So too do people, particularly those involved in change. They want to know what is happening, when, why, and to whom.
