ABSTRACT

Chapter 4 introduced you to fuzzy systems, including the ways in which fuzzy systems could be used as an effective means for determining the vulnerability of any system. In this chapter, we develop a complete expert system for legal threats using the same concepts. First we introduce the basic terminologies used in the text as well as discuss the current works in this area, along with the objectives for the system. Then we deal with the architecture of the expert system and model to carry out threat management. We also discuss the input modeling and fuzzification of the input. Next we analyze the rule and the expert system in terms of the relationship between the linguistic variables and output. Then we will evaluate the expert system as a whole with given test cases. We conclude the chapter by considering future work that may be carried out in this field. We first define a few terms used in the text.
