ABSTRACT

The group began airing a round-robin of complaints regarding the Lean Six Sigma training. There were several comments about Ben’s narrow focus and the level of disconnect between the content and the real world. The Green Belt class was getting through the materials, and the interim test scores were consistent with a normal distribution. Ben had offered individual tutoring to those with the lowest scores. A couple of participants had taken advantage of it, and he was confident they would be okay. Ben felt the high number of duds was representative of how their managers really felt about Six Sigma and quality improvement.
