ABSTRACT
This chapter summarizes the case story of TryinHard Marine, dramatizing and highlighting the dynamics of a typical process improvement implementation. There are linear paradigms embedded in traditional Six Sigma deployment processes that create systemic, dysfunctional patterns. These patterns cut across industry segments, geography, and organizational size. These are the dynamics highlighted in the TryinHard Marine case.
