Reduction of Physical Load at the Waist of a Care Worker Using Muscle Suit

To examine the physical load at the waist of a care worker when shifting the position of a patient in with and without a wearable robot (Muscle Suit), we measured the spine angle in forward bend during the task. Using Muscle Suit improves the posture of high forward bend for the observer with supporting the muscle at the waist. It is suggested that there is a possibility to reduce the risk of low back pain for care worker in daily task.
