ABSTRACT

It is so critical for aircraft safety in case of emergency accident that the skill of flight crews and cabin internal arrangement must concentrate to save human lives, considering the possibility of the airplane being on fire. From these points of view, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) makes its attention on these issues, therefore the new aircraft must satisfy several rules as Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR Part 25.803) where one of them is called "90 seconds rule." This rule means that the maximum seating capacity including the number of crewmembers can be evacuated from less than half number of emergency exits of the airplane to the

ground under simulated emergency conditions within 90 seconds. In this paper an internal model for autonomous agent and multi-agent was

proposed to play a behavior of panic passenger in chaotic situation such as limited short time and closed space in an aircraft accident. The urgent evacuation simulation model of aircraft accident was also developed by the internal model as real as practical situation considering the possibility of the airplane being on fire. In order to evaluate the proposed models, the evacuation flow was evaluated entity similar to the actual aircraft DC-1 0-30. The simulation results suggest that the proposed model can represent the evacuation behavior of passengers on the limited situation. Especially, the behavior passenger with panic emotion tends to be selfish. Therefore, the passenger became to be non-adoptive to the other passengers and go ahead nevertheless the other passenger waiting. These tendencies include the mode, the jam of passenger appeared and it took more evacuation time.
