ABSTRACT
ISO/TC 223 (Societal Security) has published ISO/PAS 22399 (Guidelines for incident preparedness and operational continuity management) in 2007 and is providing a management system standard ISO 22301 (Preparedness and continuity management system-Requirements) so called PCMS. But the PCMS contains the important issues of OHSMS (occupational health and safety management system). Therefore, if this management system is aggressively pursued in business area, there will be occurred several severe conflicts or overrides with the current OHSMS, causing serious burden and chaos to the business area. This paper compared the PCMS and OHSMS and analyzed the influences of the occupational safety and health management with introducing the PCMS, and suggested a plan for improving the organizational system and function, and for enhancing the protection of workers in occupational health and safety management area.
