ABSTRACT

This study aims to investigate the influence of the double-layers clothing comfort in cleanroom environment. For the experiment design, twenty subjects including ten males and ten females completed all phases of the experiment. Each subject was asked to participate four treatment combinations with four underwear clothing levels (100% Cotton, 70% Cotton+30% Polyester, 65% Polyester+35% Cotton, 100% Polyester) x one semiconductor task (Dynamic task) x one cleanroom clothing (Class-! 00, Moisture permeability : 380 g/m2 • h, Air permeability : 2.5 cm3/cm2 • sec). The microclimates in three body regions, the moisture absorption, skin temperature, and subjective responses were measured.
