ABSTRACT
Recall that we have divided all practical solutions to the circle fitting problem into two large groups: (A) geometric fits that minimize the geometric (orthogonal) distances from the data points to the circle and (B) algebraic fits that minimize some other, mostly algebraic expressions, cf. the preamble to Chapter 4. Here we deal with type B methods.
