ABSTRACT
The Lean philosophy drives continuous improvement; however, to realize signifi cant improvements you must link Lean efforts to the strategic vision and goals of your organization. This will ensure the most appropriate projects are implemented to achieve the greatest gain for your organization. The goal of this chapter is to begin linking the strategic goals with your business system. Later in Chapter 16 you will learn how to integrate your strategic goals into your organization’s daily activities.
