ABSTRACT
When I started in surveillance in the late 1980s closed-circuit television technology was in its infancy. We had very few cameras. The ones we used were either black-and-white fixed cameras or black-and-white pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras. The PTZs were extremely large units.
