ABSTRACT
In today’s gaming environment, the majority of operations make a distinct and often dramatic separation between the surveillance function and that of physical security. In many jurisdictions the regulators mandate this separation, and in some instances control of even basic communication between these departments. From a legal and public perception point of view, they are one and the same. They are transparent in many civil and criminal legal cases and are combined.
