Another important function of a gaming security department is the protection of assets. The primary department charged with monitoring the assets in the gaming areas is surveillance, where myriad technology with closed-circuit television (CCTV) views is available. Surveillance will monitor the cash and negotiable items throughout the facility and watch security personnel who may have access.
