ABSTRACT
There are many good publications available on crisis management and recovery that provide detailed programs and procedures that are applicable to the most environments. I will discuss those incidents that are unique to a gaming operation. Fire, flood, bomb threat, evacuations, and major weather-related incidents can occur in any environment, and there are many resources for information and guidance in preparing plans for those events. Your insurance company will also typically have good resources for information and can provide you with basic planning documents.
