ABSTRACT
Based on history, security personnel require basic forms of training in order to perform the tasks required to protect guests, employees, and assets. Every manager or director of security has a preferred, distinct method of training. The function of physical security in gaming operations is not complex or complicated in most casinos. The department’s security personnel should have a basic and consistent method of operating and will typically rely on the basic policies and procedures of the organization they work for and the specific policies and procedures of the security department.
