ABSTRACT
Casinos attract many different types of people as customers. Where customers who have valuables gather, there will always be those undesirables who prey on them (Figure 20.1). There are some scams that are centuries old and others that developed when casinos started their proliferation outside of the state of Nevada. Security officers will typically become aware of these scams and activities quickly, depending on the location, through incidents, writing reports for victims, and observations.
