This chapter discusses practical issues and considerations in the implementation of clinical PACS, including common issues involved in planning, installation, acceptance testing, and postinstallation maintenance. The chapter will particularly focus on the steps taken in imple menting a PACS and provide the potential PACS buyer practical guidance throughout the process.
