ABSTRACT

So far, we’ve discussed how to use CSFs to improve processes within your organization and to augment your strategic plan. But an organization is only as good as the people who work in it, and CSFs can be an excellent method for communicating responsibilities and improving and tracking job performance. In identifying CSFs for a job, you first need to determine if there is a need to increase the performance levels of the job. In other words, what is our objective? Depending on your objective(s), different factors may emerge. You need both specific information about the job and a clear objective before you can establish CSFs for improving job performance.
