In the last 15 years liquid chromatography (HPLC), connected with mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), became the basic instrument in the analysis of natural products, in which the main aim is, rst of all, isolation, identication, and in many cases quantitative analysis of their components.
