ABSTRACT
This chapter is a collection of some examples of SHM studies. Most of these are drawn from the experience of the author.
Measuring the loads and the state of a structure while it is being built can provide information that leads to improvements in the quality, safety, and efficiency of construction processes. The following describes load measurements on a multistory reinforced concrete slab style building.
