ABSTRACT
The search for evidence and its interpretation should not be compromised by strict time frames or rushing through the process in order to obtain a result. The evidence must be of high quality, and any rush to obtain it may compromise this quality. The clothing examiner needs to work with the investigator in establishing priorities so that time is spent on the most urgent and useful examinations, which can be provided at the outset only if the remaining work is postponed.
