ABSTRACT
Documentation of clothing items is described here, followed by processes for the preliminary searching, detection, and recovery of evidence on garments. Alterations to the original condition of a garment are discussed. Clothing construction, including fabric and yarn composition, follows. Finally, common terminology used in sewing and manufacturing of garments is presented in Sections 3.9 and 3.10.
