ABSTRACT
If our attitude is to remain consistent, it must be grounded in something more enduring than the ever-present impulse to get the job done. If getting the job done is our only desire, then we could be tempted to take questionable shortcuts in our leadership practice that are decidedly not Lean. Therefore, we need to look beyond emotion toward a broader base of sustainable wisdom-our ethics.
