ABSTRACT
We consider here the receptor-independent (RI) approach (as in CoMFA). But the analysis can also be used, with minor modications, for receptor-dependent (RD) problems (when the structure of the receptor is known). Let us note, however, that as in the previous ligand-based 3D-methods, the receptor is here kept rigid.
