ABSTRACT
A number of field investigations of riveted railway bridges were undertaken by the Department of Structural Engineering, Division of Steel and Timber Structures at Chalmers University of Technology in 1989-1992, cf. refs. [1], [3], [5] and [9]. In all, the field investigations resulted in studies of 15 riveted railway bridges, see Table 5.1.
