ABSTRACT
Figure 7.1 shows a multitude of factors that can affect the performance of a product. Because these factors are generally not well controlled, they truly become noise factors rather than control factors. We may be able to simulate this noise in the lab and perform some level of control so we can ascertain the potential behavior of the product under specific experimental conditions.
