ABSTRACT
In problem solving, search formulation involves many combinatorial optimizations of search approximation, including action-control optimizations. All aspects of the search-task environment represent various classes of applications, such as routing, scheduling, speech recognition, scene analysis, and intrusion-detection pattern matching.
