ABSTRACT

Analysis of air, whether indoor or outdoor air, primarily consists of three steps: (1) sampling of the air, (2) chemical analysis of the sampled air, and (3) quality assurance to ensure the precision and accuracy of the measurement. Before performing the sampling, it is important to know the physicochemical properties of the target contaminants. In addition, sampling for outdoor air requires a proper sampling plan that includes the selection of proper sites for sampling based on the weather condition, the topography, and other factors.
