ABSTRACT
Engineering designers are the most important factor in design engineering. Other factors play significant roles, see chapter 9. All factors are interrelated, have relationships to factors outside designing, and constitute a system. The information presented in this chapter is located in the ‘south-east’ quadrant of figure 5.4.
