ABSTRACT
The design process is a TrfP in which information is the operand – organizing and documenting information is thus important for engineering. Information is available from various sources. The questions are: ‘Where do I find the needed information of appropriate quality? For which kind of information am I searching? Which information carrier (medium) can contain it? Which information banks are available? How is this information arranged?’ – they ask for designers’ specialist information – domain, discipline, designerly, subject or branch information.
