ABSTRACT
The outputs of an organization are ‘products’, including processed natural ‘produce’, intended to provide operating revenue for an organization, see figure 18.1. Among organization products, consideration in this book is limited to those with a substantial engineering content, i.e. technical systems – TS, which drive a useful transformation process, TrfP. Non-engineering artifacts and processes are excluded, although many of the considerations will also apply to them.
