ABSTRACT
The power plant “Kosova A and Kosova B” have a total effective capacity 1355 MW, only “Kosova B” discharge approximately 260 g/s SO2, 556 g/s NOx and 376 g/s dust. Chemical analysis of the dust particles which originated from power plant contains different chemical elements including radionucleotides Pb214, Ti218, Cs137, U235 Adrovic´, et al. (1996) and toxic compounds as nitrogen oxides, SO2, As, Pb, Cd, Ni, Cr, Co etc., which have negative impact on the living organisms.
