Fatigue crack propagation in stiffened panels under tension loading

Fatigue tests were carried out on a centrally notched plate specimen (P1) and stiffened panel specimen (SP1). The specimens’ geometry is given in Figures 1 and 2. A specimen was fixed by rigid tab plates at the ends, and it was loaded using a hydraulic testing machine. Fatigue test conditions applied in the experiment are listed in Table 1.
