The Virginia Tech Shootings It seemed rather early for Cho Seung-Hui to be up, his roommate noticed. It was Ÿve in the morning, April 16, 2007, and there he was, leaned over his computer, typing something. What exactly was he Ÿnishing up that morning in the dim false-dawn gloaming coming up over the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg? It was strange that he was so intent on what he was looking at on the computer screen that early.
