We will follow our previous approach and will restrict ourselves to the consideration of chemical IMI only. In the case of fullerenes, the IMI, as we know, is considerably aggravated with a donor-acceptor (D-A) interaction. This is particularly important for fullerene homomolecular systems since the fullerene C60, as well as other members of the fullerenic family, is simultaneously both a good electron donor, due to rather low ionization potential (IP), and a good electron acceptor, due to extremely high electron afœnity (EA).
