ABSTRACT

Dynamic Light Fields All VBR algorithms are generally concerned with representing and querying the time-varying plenoptic function arising from an animated scene. Dynamic light fields (DLF) extend the light-field notion outlined in Section 2.3.2 to time-varying content. Dynamic light fields exhibit a five-dimensional data structure, encompassing the four light-field dimensions that apply to transparent empty space, plus an additional dimension to capture the scene’s temporal evolution.
