ABSTRACT
We begin our exploration of professional game development with an exercise that takes about 55 minutes. This is the minigame exercise because you are making a miniature game. In the industry, the term “minigame” also means a game within a game. This is appropriate, because you might later find yourself incorporating the results of this exercise into a larger project.
