ABSTRACT
We take the opportunity in this chapter to describe three pieces of experimental mathematics and related research that have been performed since our earlier publications [25,72] and the earlier edition of this book [71]. In addition, from discussions with colleagues and lectures to various groups, our own thoughts have been refined and revised. In consequence, we have added some more discursive sections as bookends. We have also aggregated a me´lange of examples and exercises-some generated by the sections and some totally unrelated.
