ABSTRACT
Two interconnected forces drive the need for analysis of oligonucleotides for metals content. The ‰rst is the need for process monitoring during the isolation or generation of samples. The second is the regulatory requirements associated with oligonucleotides. Accurate quantitation of metal content in oligonucleotides serves several different purposes depending on the end use of the material being tested.
