ABSTRACT

Sample preparation has been one of the most investigated steps in analytical procedures. These investigations are focused on problems such as isolation of analytes from the sample matrix, matrix simplication, analyte enrichment, and the removal of interferences to improve the nal quantication. Modern trends in analytical chemistry are toward the simplication and miniaturization of sample preparation as well as minimization of organic solvent used. In particular, the reduction or complete elimination of solvent consumption in analytical procedures is very important according to the rules of green chemistry.
