ABSTRACT
Public relations are a very important component of the operation of a facility. It is important to begin communication with the public as early as possible. It is necessary for the community to be aware of the risk, such as the potential for odors; the bene—ts to the environment; possible savings in collection costs; and any remuneration to the community, if applicable. Therefore, education, publicity, and communication are very important aspects of public relations.
