ABSTRACT
The delineator must function as per instructions and guidance from the scientic and engineering community and use the regulatory guidance provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and any other agencies involved. One must function in an objective fashion and produce a delineation and report that meets the needs of regulatory entities who administer wetland regulations and permitting activities. It is also important to best represent the needs and rights of the landowner or client in developing the report and presenting results for inspection.
