ABSTRACT

The second half of the eighties saw big changes looming on the horizon of the gaming industry. Technology was advancing at an incredibly fast pace and new home computers started driving a wave of innovation thanks to more powerful and advanced 16-bit processors. In 1985, while the popularity of the arcades was slowly fading away in favor of home entertainment, both Atari and Commodore were ready to release their first ST and Amiga models, respectively.
