Peptostreptococcus

The genus Peptostreptococcus, currently including two species of gram-positive, obligately anaerobic cocci, Peptostreptococcus anaerobius and Peptostreptococcus stomatis, belongs to the family Peptostreptococcaceae in the phylum Firmicutes.
