ABSTRACT

The auditor selection process is an opportunity to identify the individuals who are most quali˜ed and possess the skills that are necessary to be a part of the audit team. The ˜rst step in auditor selection is to engage with human resources to determine the hiring process that is in effect within the organization. Labor law and company policies will dictate how positions must be posted and ˜lled within an organization. The human resources department will be the authoritative group to provide guidance on how to post auditor positions, interview, and select candidates. They will help you to create a legal job description, post the position, and manage the selection process.
